Engineering launched F-Secure PSB On Wednesday 12 March Inter Engineering and F-Secure Corporation launched the new F-Secure Protection Service for Businesses (PSB) in the Anthidis Wine Cellar in Athens. PSB is the automated security solution for small and medium sized businesses offered as a service – Security As A Service. The event, exclusively for Inter Engineering partners, was kicked off by Josmaarten Swinkels of Inter Engineering, who set out the market positioning of the new solution, the sales model as well as the opportunities for resellers. After that Ondrej Doubek, Senior Presales Engineer of F-Secure Corporation took care of a complete technical presentation of PSB showing the completeness and user-friendlyness of the solution for the end customer as well as the reseller.
The F-Secure Protection Service for Business contains the renowned quality F-Secure protection with Anti Virus, Anti Spyware, Application Control, Intrusion Prevention (F-Secure Deepguard), Rootkit detection (F-Secure Blacklight) and Anti Spam. There are predefined security profiles for easier setup and the software supports 25 languages including Greek. All of that naturally with the qualitative technical support of Inter Engineering. Always innovative Inter Engineering had prepared a different taste of information and entertainment for its guests. A wine expert and producer performed a mini seminar on wine, presenting its characteristics and secrets, this naturally accompanied by tasting for all. was emphasized that the Protection Service for Business guarantees
complete security for workstations and servers with professional
centralized management, however without installing any management
infrastructure at the end customer and without bothering the end
customer. The management is done completely through a web portal
hosted by F-Secure Corporation. Thus management can be done by the
end customer himself but much more interesting is the the fact that
the reselling partner can take care of the management for his
customers through the console, at any time and any place, as long as
there is internet access.
